Meet Dr. Jeff Knudson, a University District Dentist

As a Seattle area native, I could not be more thrilled and honored to serve my hometown. Dentistry is a true passion in my life and I am committed to providing the best dental care in all of Seattle. I have often been told that I could “talk teeth all day” — and it’s true! Dentistry is more than a job to me; it is an opportunity to serve my community through patient education, disease prevention, and helping to maintain a beautiful, natural smile. Beyond that, I have the opportunity to cultivate lifelong relationships with the patients I serve, something that is not always seen in other healthcare professions. The trust my patients place in me and my team is something truly special and is a responsibility that we do not take lightly. Here at Brush, it is our mission to provide comfortable, pain-free dentistry, utilize state of the art technology and strive to exceed the expectations of every patient.

Education and continuing education

• Bachelor of Science in biology – Seattle Pacific University
• Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Washington

Since completing my formal dental education, I have taken an enthusiastic approach to continuing education. I hope to provide the best and most comprehensive care for my patients. For this reason, I have attended numerous courses on advanced endodontics, periodontal surgeries, aesthetic/restorative dentistry, and orthodontics. With the skills that I have learned, my goal is to provide top-notch general dentistry and specialty care under one roof.

Outside the office

I currently live in Laurelhurst with my beautiful wife Annie, who is also a dentist at Brush. We have a wonderful one year old daughter named Charlotte and a new baby boy due in November! We also have a goldendoodle named Finn, who still thinks he runs the show. My time away from the office is spent staying fit and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I converted the garage in to a cross-fit gym, so I spend the few minutes I can getting a workout in what is labeled as the 'Rat's nest'. I also enjoy running, hiking, playing golf, and enjoying sunny Seattle days. I am passionate about my faith and helping others in need. Each day I come into the office, I keep this in mind.
